Chapter 15 - Chapter 14 - Training Secrets

"Get up! I didn't tell you that you could lay down!" I yelled at the Saiyan Prince, who was currently laying on the ground exhausted.

Vegeta let out a struggling groan as he pushed himself back onto his feet and continued to do the exercises that I've ordered him to do. He's progressing quite well. He's almost ready for the seventy-five pound weights.

Facing back towards Broly, I fire off a Ki blast towards him, "Dodge!"

He sidestepped the Ki blast and quickly blocked my follow up punch.

"Good!" I praised him.

Unlike Vegeta's training that focuses on raising his power level, Broly's training is more geared towards giving him more combat experience. Obviously I've been pulling my punches quite a bit, but it's not me he needs to be prepared for.

"Alright you two, that's enough for today."

Vegeta stopped right in his tracks, letting out a tired breath before he fell to the ground in exhaustion. It's been about a week since our first meeting and he's honestly been a lot more receptive of my teaching than I thought he would be.

While he did object at first, as soon as I told him the purpose of it, he strapped the weights right on and started running.

"You're improving. Keep this up and you'll finally be able to spar against Broly." I said as I looked over at the child in question, who had somehow already gotten some juice and sat himself on down on the flat rock in the corner of the training grounds.

He sure loves that juice...

"You're a damned slave driver..." Vegeta groaned on the floor.

"No pain, no gain, Vegeta." I told him with a smirk.

"Is that another one of your ridiculous sayings?" He asked, not at all amused.

I didn't say anything and just shrugged my shoulders with a smile. He looked up at me with annoyance written clearly all over his face before letting it go and surrendering to the mercy of the floor.

Vegeta should be hitting seven hundred pretty soon. If he keeps up this rate of improvement, he should be able to start sparring with Broly in about a month, maybe two.

"I see that training is going well." A melodic voice rung out.

I look up from the Prince and see that his mother is walking towards us with that cold, indifferent stare that sent shivers up my spine.

Goddamn, the curves on this woman...

I shake those thoughts out of my head immediately.

Stop that! Focus, Zyleth, stay focused! Women are temporary, training is eternal!

"Something the matter?" The Queen asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing. Nothing at all." I said, clearing my throat and waving my hand dismissively. "We were just finishing up for today."

She nods and snaps her fingers, causing that prick attendant to grab Vegeta off the ground and take him inside the palace. Either to the Medical Pod or put him to bed. Don't know, don't care.

"Good day." She said before turning and walking off.

I discreetly lean over to the side, trying to respectfully take a look at her backside.

If only that damned cape wasn't in the way...

Respectfully.

I feel something grab my tail and I immediately tense up, feeling a very differing kind of shiver run up my spine. I flick my tail over so that it was within eyesight and see that Broly was the culprit.

He looked at me with those innocent eyes of his and holds out a packet of that green juice before asking, "Juice?"

I look at him for a moment before nodding and taking the packet from him, making him smile.

"Come on. It's time for you to start on your other training" I said as I walked off in the opposite direction of the Queen.

Seeing my departure, he hurriedly ran towards me in order to catch up. Once we exited the castle, we walk back down the road before turning off and heading inside a small alcove. I look out and make sure we weren't followed before turning towards Broly.

"Ready?" I asked.

He nodded a bit hesitantly, which was good enough for me, and I used Kai Kai to teleport us to Planet Vampa.

Why Planet Vampa? Because it's the only planet that I know that doesn't have any surveillance from the Frieza Force.

Could I have found a different planet?

Yes.

.

.

.

Once there, we're greeted by that gloomy, almost acidic looking wasteland that made up pretty much the entirety of Planet Vampa.

"Whoah!" Broly exclaimed with overwhelming excitement. "Where are we?! How did you do that?!"

"This is Planet Vampa, the perfect place for this kind of training that I've planned for you. As for the how..." I look at him with a smile and place my finger over my lips, "...that's a secret. Make sure you don't tell anyone okay? I could get in a lot of trouble."

Probably not, there's not a soul on Planet Vegeta that can hold me accountable to anything anymore... Well, except my mother, but that's beside the point.

I just don't want people knowing that I can teleport anywhere in the universe. It's like a pick up truck. Soon as people know that you have it, there goes your weekends.

Maybe.

I don't actually know that, but I'm not taking chances.

Besides, it's easy to get a child to keep a secret. Just say that you'll get into trouble and you have that little ankle biters silence for life. Depending on the child.

Broly looked at me with stars in his eyes and nodded his head resolutely before turning away to look around at the barren planet some more. Although boring to me, this was his first time off world. I couldn't blame him for being excited.

But unfortunately, we didn't come here to sightsee.

"You ready Broly?" I asked him.

He looked back at me with a now hesitant gaze as he asked, "Do we have to?"

I let out a sigh and place my hands on his shoulder.

"Yes, we have to. You have to learn how to control it before you change accidentally and other people get hurt." I tell him with a soft tone.

"But what if you get hurt?" He asked worriedly.

I smirk at him, taking my hands off of his shoulders and pointing towards myself, "Don't worry. I'm the strongest."

That was not at all the truth, but I didn't need to prove it, I just needed him to believe it.

I'm just hoping that he's either forgotten that talk about me saying there was always someone stronger out there, or he was just too preoccupied with his juice to hear me in the first place.

He looked at me for a few seconds before nodding resolutely.

"That's the spirit." I pat him on the shoulder before leading him towards the middle of a mostly flat area, "Okay, I'm going to fire it off and you just need to look at it for me, okay?" I asked, making sure he understood.

He nods and I smile at him reassuringly before walking a fair distance away. Once far enough away, I gather my energy and make a Power Ball.

"Ready, Broly?!" I shout at him.

"Ready!" I hear him shout back.

I let go of the the Power Ball, letting it fly high up into the air before I clenched my hand into fist.

"Burst open and mix!"

I quickly look away so that I won't transform too and look over towards Broly. He stares at the Power Ball, transfixed on its appearance before his eyes go white and his small body starts to pulsate.

"Here it comes..." I mutter to myself.

To my surprise, but also relief, he didn't go into the Wrathful form he had in the Broly Movie. It was mostly just the standard Great Ape form, but it was odd. Its appearance isn't unusual, but the greenish energy that it was radiating was definitely something new.

It gained my curiosity, but as he grew larger and larger, alarm bells just started to ring in my head. Which were proven right when those glowing red eyes of his were now looking at me as if I had just taken a piss into his juice.

"Hey, buddy... You in there...?" I asked the now building sized Broly with a soft tone.

The giant ape replied with a monumental roar of unrelenting fury before it started to charge at me.

"Okay, yeah, so that's a no..."
