Annie immediately greeted Haruto with an annoyed look. "Why did you take so long? We've been waiting for a while!" Annie said in an irritated tone, although there was a hint of fatigue in her eyes that suggested she had been standing there for a long time.
Haruto just shrugged and gave a slight smile. "Of course, I didn't know you all would come this early. Besides, what's the rush?" Haruto said as he stepped forward and opened the training room door.
As he entered, Haruto threw a quick glance at them, as if to ensure they were ready to face the challenging training ahead. The students looked enthusiastic, though also a bit tense, as if they were unsure of what they would encounter. Once they were all inside, Haruto checked the room, making sure the equipment was in good condition, then looked at each of them one by one.
"Alright," Haruto said, folding his arms across his chest. "Since you want to level up, let's see how far your abilities go."
Annie looked at Haruto with confidence, while the others appeared hesitant but determined. Annie smiled, pleased to see their enthusiasm. She knew that to reach the level they desired, they would have to go through various tough training sessions. And today, Annie would show them that training with Haruto Sato was not something to be taken lightly.
"But... Senior, are you sure?" William asked, his face filled with doubt, his eyes looking at Haruto anxiously.
"... Not really, but just do it, damn it!" Haruto huffed with an annoyed expression, his voice sharp as if about to explode, but he tried to keep himself in check. Haruto's right hand clenched tightly, as if he was trying to hold back the anger that was about to overflow.
"Uh? Alright..." William replied, a bit awkwardly, then stepped forward, though he still looked uncertain. The tense atmosphere seemed to hang in the air.
"Wiliam! You will attack with Harl! Cynthia! And Yuna! You two, stay back and provide support!" Annie suddenly issued commands in a firm and dominant voice, her sharp eyes quickly assessing the situation. "Oliv and Jae Hyun! You help Wiliam! Everyone! Do as per the training we've gone through!"
Annie's orders were immediately met with swift movements. Everyone looked ready to move, though the anxiety on their faces was hard to hide.
"What? Wait! Grab your weapons first!" Haruto shouted in annoyance, seeing William already starting to run without preparation. Haruto's voice echoed, and in that instant, silence enveloped them. All eyes were on William, who awkwardly fell because he tripped over his own feet.
Haruto rolled his eyes, looking frustrated. "Do you seriously want to fight right away? Grab the weapons over there! Wooden weapons are much safer! Though they are more fragile, at least you can practice your techniques without too much danger!" Haruto yelled, his voice rough and filled with irritation. "Hey! Get up quickly! Why are you lying there like a fool!"
All the team members immediately lowered their heads, embarrassment clearly visible on their faces. They all felt silly, especially William, who still felt the heat of shame on his cheeks after falling like that.
In a hurried motion, they all quickly ran to the wooden weapons located on the side of the room, each grabbing one and preparing themselves again.
"Uhm... Senior?" A girl suddenly called out to Haruto, her voice a bit hesitant, which made Haruto turn around with a confused expression.
"What is it?" Haruto asked, his eyebrows slightly raised, confusion clearly reflected on his face.
"There aren't many arrows here?" The girl looked around with a puzzled expression, her eyes sweeping the area around them that seemed to lack equipment.
