Chapter 179 - Chapter 181

In Uchiha Fugaku's study, a clan member responsible for guarding the premises led Uchiha Masa inside. She was the same medical ninja who had previously performed the eye transplant for spore clone No. 1.

"Patriarch, did you summon me because there was a problem with the eye transplant?" Uchiha Masa asked cautiously.

She understood how much the clan leader valued that special clone. While she was highly confident in her medical ninjutsu and had performed countless successful eye transplants, the possibility of unforeseen complications still made her uneasy.

"No, the operation was successful," Uchiha Fugaku said with a faint smile, shaking his head. "The clone hasn't experienced any discomfort since the transplant."

"Then why did you call me here?" Uchiha Masa was puzzled.

If it wasn't related to the eye transplant, then what was the reason for her summons?

"Take a look at this first," Uchiha Fugaku said, pointing toward a small green scroll on his desk.

Uchiha Masa picked up the scroll and carefully unfolded it.

As her eyes scanned the contents, they widened in astonishment, and her expression changed to one of intense excitement.

To a medical ninja like her, this scroll was nothing short of a priceless treasure—a sacred text of medical techniques.

The scroll contained highly advanced notes on cellular transplantation, detailing knowledge far beyond anything she had encountered before. If she could master this, her medical abilities would reach an entirely new level.

For a long while, she was completely absorbed in reading. When she finally finished, she carefully set the scroll down, as if afraid it might be damaged.

She even wiped her hands on her clothes before touching it again, ensuring no sweat or dirt marred the precious document.

Watching her cautious behavior, Uchiha Fugaku couldn't help but think of the way Orochimaru would regurgitate things from his mouth. He smirked inwardly. If only she knew what this scroll had been contaminated with before he made a clean copy.

"Patriarch, this is Hashirama cell transplantation technology… How do you have this?" Uchiha Masa asked curiously, reluctantly placing the scroll back on the desk.

"I obtained it by chance," Uchiha Fugaku said vaguely, avoiding a detailed explanation. "Can you confirm its authenticity?"

Uchiha Masa examined the scroll again before nodding firmly. "Yes, this is real. It's a complete and highly advanced Hashirama cell transplantation technique."

As one of the best medical ninjas in the Uchiha clan, she had the expertise to make such a judgment without hesitation.

"Good. I'm giving this scroll to you. Study the transplantation technique thoroughly and ensure you master it completely," Uchiha Fugaku instructed.

His expression was serious—this was no casual assignment.

The scroll had already been copied, so he had no qualms about handing this version to her.

"Yes!" Uchiha Masa said enthusiastically as she carefully placed the scroll into her ninja tool pouch, treating it as though it were a priceless heirloom.

Then, after a moment of hesitation, her brows furrowed in concern. "Patriarch, does this mean you plan to conduct Hashirama cell transplant experiments?"

She had her doubts.

The Uchiha clan already possessed the powerful Kekkei Genkai of the Sharingan. The risks of Hashirama cell transplantation were incredibly high, with an overwhelming failure rate. Even if successful, there was no guarantee of obtaining a functional Wood Release.

For the Uchiha, the benefits seemed questionable at best. And for those who failed… it could mean death.

"As a medical ninja of the Uchiha clan, you must be aware that the Mangekyō Sharingan gradually leads to blindness with repeated use," Uchiha Fugaku said instead of answering directly.

"Yes," Uchiha Masa nodded.

She was well aware that generations of Uchiha had sought ways to counter the blindness caused by excessive Mangekyō usage, but no one had ever found a cure.

"I have obtained reliable information that transplanting Hashirama cells can prevent Mangekyō blindness," Uchiha Fugaku revealed. "Additionally, the Sharingan—especially the Mangekyō—possesses a unique resistance to the corrosive nature of Hashirama cells. This significantly increases the success rate of transplantation for Uchiha compared to ordinary people."

Uchiha Masa was stunned.

The revelation left her momentarily speechless.

The idea that Hashirama's cells could counteract the degeneration of the Mangekyō Sharingan was a shocking concept.

And to think that the Uchiha bloodline inherently resisted the side effects of Hashirama's cells…

It was an unexpected and groundbreaking revelation.

"Patriarch, do you plan to undergo Hashirama cell transplantation yourself?" she asked after regaining her composure.

She knew Uchiha Fugaku had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, so she assumed he intended to use this method to preserve his vision.

"No," Uchiha Fugaku replied, shaking his head. "Due to the special nature of my Mangekyō Sharingan ability, I don't need Hashirama cells to maintain my eyesight."

He then looked at her with a solemn expression.

"You understand now how important Hashirama cell transplantation technology is to the Uchiha clan," he continued. "I want you to master it completely. In the future, when the time is right, you will pass this knowledge to the most promising medical ninjas among the younger generation."

Uchiha Masa took a deep breath before bowing her head slightly in acknowledgment. "Yes, Patriarch. I understand."

She now felt an immense sense of responsibility.

It was no longer just about advancing her own medical skills—she was now entrusted with something that could change the future of the Uchiha clan itself.

After dismissing Uchiha Masa, Uchiha Fugaku left his residence and made his way to the secret chamber near Nanga Shrine.

There, he continued producing spore clones.

After exhausting his chakra, he had created four new clones.

Unfortunately, none of them turned out like No. 1. They were just ordinary spore clones.

He sighed inwardly.

Creating a special individual like No. 1 required an incredible stroke of luck. It wasn't something that could be replicated at will.

Still, progress was being made.

"Within a few days, I'll have over fifty spore clones," he mused. "That will be enough to begin preparing for the next phase."

His eyes grew cold.

It was time to start quietly moving Uchiha elite ninjas outside the village under the guise of training exercises.

Everything was falling into place.

He was ready to execute his plan.

And at the heart of that plan was eliminating Uchiha Shisui.

For the sake of the Uchiha clan.

For the evolution of the Mangekyō Sharingan.

For everything he had worked toward.

Uchiha Fugaku clenched his fist.

He couldn't wait to get rid of that treacherous wolf, Uchiha Shisui.
