The room remained still and heavy with the warmth of shared breath and skin. Beneath the covers, hidden from the world, Rina shifted slightly in Yoru's arms. Her heart hadn't stopped racing — not because of nerves now, but because of the heat rising between them again.
His voice still echoed in her ears:
"You're curious."
She hated how easily he read her.
But she wasn't going to let him win so easily this time.
Without warning, her hand slipped back down — slow, purposeful — and curled around him again. The heat of him filled her palm immediately, pulsing under her fingers.
Yoru inhaled sharply against her ear.
"Oh?" he murmured, breathless. "Now you're starting something?"
Rina smirked, though her face was blazing. "You started it earlier."
He gave a small, strained laugh, clearly caught off guard by her sudden boldness. "So this is revenge?"
"Maybe."
