Rina lay beneath Yoru, her arms trembling around his shoulders, her body tense, breath hitching. Her eyes shimmered with tears she couldn't stop, biting her lip hard enough to leave a mark.
"It… it hurts, Yokun," she whispered, her voice shaking as the tears slid from the corners of her eyes. "I-I'm sorry, I just—"
"Don't apologize," Yoru whispered against her cheek, brushing a gentle kiss there. "It's okay, Rinchan. We'll stop if it's too much. Just say the word, and I'll stop immediately."
"No," she whispered back, gripping his hand tightly. "Just… hold me. Stay close. It's just new. I want to do this with you. Only you."
