Chapter 364 - Chapter 365: Thanos, Completely Defenseless

The sky seemed to be torn open, revealing a swirling vortex as air was sucked into the rift.

If someone accidentally reached inside, they would either be teleported somewhere beyond their control or have their arm twisted off entirely.

Hela, upon learning that the Time Stone once possessed by the Ancient One had been taken by Thanos' subordinates, made an immediate decision.

As a sorceress herself, she often found herself at odds with the Ancient One.

Now, if she could reclaim the Time Stone from Thanos' hands, she would ensure that the Ancient One owed her a favor—one that could never truly be repaid.

Hela was certain that, should she ever make a request in the future, the Ancient One would not refuse.

From the moment she seized control of Asgard, she had become its one and only ruler.

And since her domain had been invaded by Thanos' forces—specifically, Black Dwarf—it was only natural for her to retaliate. New grudges and old debts would all be settled together.

As she stepped onto Titan, Hela wrinkled her nose in disgust. The entire planet was nothing but ruins, permeated with the stench of decay.

There wasn't a single trace of life. This place was utterly dead.

On the throne, Thanos sat with his eyes closed, resting. Not a single subordinate was around.

Hela considered herself lucky—ever since she met Alan, it seemed her luck had always been at its peak.

With a silent step, she teleported next to Thanos, internally mocking his carelessness.

To think that he had simply left the Time Stone sitting nearby while he dozed off, completely unaware of her presence.

Did he truly believe that no one would dare set foot on Titan to assassinate him?

Dark chaotic magic coiled around her fingers as she reached out—so easily, in fact, that even Hela found it hard to believe.

The Time Stone was in her grasp.

And Thanos… was still asleep!

Feeling amused, Hela decided she couldn't let this opportunity go to waste.

She had to at least give Thanos a beating for daring to invade Asgard.

That disgusting, ridged-chinned brute actually thought he could challenge the authority of a god?

"Hey, weird chin, having a nice nap?"

Hela's voice immediately snapped Thanos awake.

His eyes shot open in disbelief, locking onto the dark-cloaked woman standing before him. His thick, grooved chin twitched as he spoke.

"Asgardian?" Thanos instantly recognized her as one of Asgard's people.

But when had she arrived on Titan?

Whipping his head around, he suddenly realized that the Time Stone, which had been resting on a set of schematics, was gone.

He had been challenged—by an Asgardian!

"Correct," Hela smirked. "But you forgot to add something—Queen of Asgard."

She crossed her arms, looking around mockingly.

"I just happened to be passing through this dump and thought I'd check on you. My god, I almost thought you were dead in your sleep!"

Hela had intentionally woken Thanos up.

If she could redirect his attention from Earth onto herself, then she wouldn't mind a battle right here on Titan—even if she had to face him alone.

Asgard was heavily fortified, and with Angela stationed there, Hela had nothing to worry about.

Unless Thanos had a death wish, he'd best think twice before making a move.

After being sealed away for so long, her thirst for bloodshed was overwhelming. Now that she had fully regained her strength, she wasn't about to waste this opportunity.

If she didn't indulge now, and the universe eventually settled into peace, launching a war later would be much harder.

"Odin's child?" Thanos' massive figure towered over Hela, making it seem as though he could crush her skull with a single squeeze.

"Heh…" Hela chuckled darkly.

"So, I still get to meet one of Odin's spawn. Funny… I recall seeing another one on Earth as well."
