Chapter 365 - Chapter 366: Purely to Disgust Him

Hela had initially smirked with mockery, but as soon as she heard that Odin had another child on Earth, the curve of her lips slowly faded.

That stubborn old fool not only sent the Valkyries to hunt her down but even imprisoned her in the end. And now, she finds out that he had another child?

And that child was on Earth?

Hela's gaze turned icy as she glared at Thanos. "Telling me this… what's the point?"

"I just feel sorry for you," Thanos said, his deep voice carrying a hint of pity. "If you were my child, I would have been proud of you. Odin was a fool."

He knew exactly what kind of ambition burned within Hela.

"Perhaps we could work together," he continued, stepping closer to her. "If we reduce the population of the Nine Realms by half, ruling them would become much easier."

Thanos approached, trying to persuade Hela to join his cause. If she agreed, both of their goals could be realized together.

"I heard Odin originally chose Thor to inherit the throne of Asgard," Thanos mused. "But from what I see… you are far more suitable."

Hela let out a cold laugh. "It's not your opinion that decides that. My strength does."

In an instant, two sharp swords materialized in her hands—the Twilight Sword and the Night Sky Blade.

"How pathetic. Do you really think you can kill me?" Thanos scoffed, gripping his massive double-bladed sword. A battle was now inevitable.

"Of course not," Hela smirked. "Who said I was here to kill you?"

She wasn't foolish. She knew only the Emperor had the power to truly kill Thanos.

Before that happened, she had come to Titan for one simple reason—to disgust Thanos, to make his life difficult.

"Negotiations have failed, then?" Thanos asked again, unwilling to give up. But when Hela spoke next, her words completely enraged him.

"Failed? Oh, it's worse than that." Hela smirked. "Losing Ebony Maw, your most loyal lapdog… I thought the moment you saw me, you'd be desperate to rip me apart."

The moment she finished speaking, their weapons clashed, sending dust and debris into the air, shrouding them both in a thick cloud of smoke.

Had this fight taken place in Asgard, Hela's power would have been limitless, replenishing endlessly. But here, on Titan, she had already prepared herself—if she could win, she'd fight; if not, she'd run.

Unlike her, Thanos had no way of entering Asgard at will. He could only fume outside, powerless to act.

Besides, the Asgardian army was already well-prepared under Hela's command. She had no fear of waging war against him.

If she could lure Thanos and his entire army into a direct confrontation, it would be a massacre of the century!

At the thought, a bloodthirsty gleam flashed in Hela's eyes.

CLANG!

Their blades clashed again. The deafening sound of their battle echoed across Titan as they exchanged blow after blow.

To his surprise, Thanos found himself struggling against Hela!

No matter how he attacked, he couldn't find a weakness in her defense.

There was no doubt—Hela was the greatest swordsman in the universe.

Thanos swung his massive double-bladed sword with both hands, but Hela parried each strike effortlessly. Then, in a sudden twist, she began using magic.

She teleported, vanishing from one spot and reappearing elsewhere—sometimes behind him, sometimes above.

"Thanos, is this really all you've got?" Hela sneered before vanishing completely.

Thanos could no longer sense her presence. Furious, he slammed his double-bladed sword into the ground, cracking the terrain beneath him.

"He's a real monster," Hela muttered, withdrawing her weapons.

The Time Stone she had temporarily stored within her body was beginning to backlash, and in that final clash, she had felt the strain.
