Thalion, still weakened but determined, looked up at Aegon. "Help me stand," he said, his voice strained but firm.
Aegon let out a sigh and raised his finger. An invisible force gently lifted Thalion to his feet, steadying him as he regained his balance.
"If the monsters are evolving into something we have no knowledge of," Thalion began, his voice filled with a mix of frustration and concern, "then all our hard work over the last 249 years—gathering information, creating doctrines—it's all going to waste. For centuries, heroes have fought monsters. We've learned to adapt, to fight them, to discover their weaknesses. But if all that's changing… what was the point of it all? If monsters become like that serpent, how will humanity survive? It's like another apocalypse has started, and we have no means to fight these new threats."
