JANE
Guests were starting to reach the dance floor but I couldn't leave my seat. There was a possibility Rosario would be on the dancefloor too and I didn't want to face him at the moment.
Antonio was gone.
"Hey." Dominic's hand brushed softly against my hand and I looked up.
"Brian texted. I need to go for a few minutes. Will you be okay here? Or do you want to dance?"
"Uh-no. I don't want to dance. I'm fine," I spoke with a small smile.
"Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"Okay. If it takes more than a few minutes, then I'll send someone to bring you to me."
"Okay."
He held the back of my head gently before pressing a soft kiss on my forehead.
I love his forehead kisses.
"You can go check out the food counter if you want. It's open now."
"Don't worry, Dominic. I'm fine. Go." I patted his hand, which was now resting on my cheek.
He looked at me for a moment and let out a sigh before leaving.
