The gods could somewhat understand how Ye Wen, a favored child of destiny blessed by the world, might accidentally obtain an innate and extraordinary martial soul capable of wielding time-based abilities.

But Tang San, with his hammer and vine martial souls—how could he possibly master such an advanced rule even after becoming a god?

In the minds of the God Kings, the Asura God himself didn't possess this ability either.

As for acquiring it through spirit rings…

While not entirely impossible, the capabilities of spirit beasts were limited. Only a mythical hundred-thousand-year divine beast's spirit ring could potentially grant such large-scale effects.

Moreover, the gods hadn't detected any traces of such a spirit ring on Tang San. Though they still hadn't fully unraveled the mysteries of this domain, one thing was certain—it was fundamentally rooted in the Asura God's Killing God Domain. There was no doubt about that.

For a moment, all the gods turned their attention toward the Asura God.

Facing their scrutinizing gazes, the Asura God remained unfazed, letting out a cold snort.

"What are you looking at?"

As the Law Enforcement God, the Asura God had cultivated an unapproachable aura of authority over the years, causing the lesser gods to instinctively bow their heads in deference.

Only gods like the Sea God, who, despite not being a God King, possessed strength rivaling one, dared to speak up at this moment.

"Big Brother Destruction, lend a hand, won't you? I'm curious about how the fight below is going."

The Destruction God King gave a slight nod. While closed-type domains imbued with spatial properties were highly sealed off, peering inside wasn't difficult for a God King like him.

With a wave of his massive hand, the battle between Tang San and Ye Wen appeared on a screen-like projection.

Tang San's immediate demand for Ye Wen to admit guilt made Ye Wen extremely wary.

Could this domain be similar to the Angel's Judgment he had once guided Qian Qian to cultivate?

Ye Wen carefully examined the situation but found no special mechanism for assigning guilt. He let out a sigh of relief.

However, admitting guilt was out of the question. Ye Wen responded confidently,

"What crime have I committed?"

Tang San coldly replied, "You incited war between the two empires, causing countless civilians to perish in calamity. How dare you claim innocence, Ye Wen?"

What a naive notion, Ye Wen thought coldly.

"The grand trends of the world dictate that division will eventually lead to unity, and unity will eventually lead to division once more.

I am merely following the natural order to unify the entire continent. What wrong have I done?

On the other hand, Tang San—you speak so virtuously, but do you truly care about the deaths of those civilians?"

At this moment, a sly smile of triumph hung on Tang San's lips.

Ye Wen's heart sank as his ominous premonition came true.

"What grand trends of the world? In my view, maintaining stability and peace is the greatest mercy for all living beings.

Since our opinions differ, let us settle this in battle.

Enduring suffering without resentment—that is the way of the Asura. It is the order I seek, and I willingly bear the burden of slaughter!"

As his words faded, Tang San's aura surged explosively.

Ye Wen inwardly cursed. So it was indeed a rule-based domain. His earlier conversation with Tang San must have fulfilled some condition, causing Tang San's power within the domain to skyrocket.

But why had his own attack been deflected?

The Asura God truly was no ordinary opponent!

At this moment, Tang San's aura surged dramatically. Originally at the peak of a second-tier god under the enhancement of his Asura God armor, his power now soared to the initial level of a first-tier god.

The gods of the god realm were astonished by Tang San's explosive growth.

The gap between second-tier and first-tier gods was immense; otherwise, there wouldn't be only a dozen or so first-tier gods in the entire god realm.

Some low-tier gods who had long been stuck at the second or third tier now looked at Tang San on the screen with greedy eyes. Such an ability had to be obtained, no matter what.

The Asura God was one of the two gods of malice in the god realm, drawing his power from slaughter.

But it wasn't mindless slaughter—it was slaughter for the sake of an unwavering belief.

The Asura God King had originally risen to prominence through this very conviction, earning the faith of others and ultimately achieving the position of the Asura God.

Tang San's earlier question was a clash of ideologies.

Since Ye Wen's beliefs contradicted his own, Tang San gained the domain's empowerment.

Faced with Tang San's surging power, Ye Wen could only flee in disarray.

Though the domain appeared small on the surface, its internal space was infinitely extended. Unless one defeated their opponent, there was no way to truly create distance between them.

But in the face of this unknown battle, Ye Wen dared not act recklessly.

As he continued to evade, Ye Wen began to piece together a possible explanation for why his earlier attack had been deflected.

No matter how the essence of a domain's ability evolved, it was always built upon the foundation of the original domain.

This meant that the effects within the domain, no matter how varied, remained fundamentally tied to its core principles.

The essence of Tang San's Killing God Domain was to suppress enemies and enhance oneself. When transformed into a closed-type domain, additional restrictions were added to amplify these effects.

The amplification was already understood—but what about the suppression?

Ye Wen casually condensed several blocks of solid ice and fired them toward Tang San from a distance.

As expected, Tang San made no move to block them, and the ice shards were deflected by suddenly appearing phantom swords, automatically avoiding Tang San.

Ye Wen sensed that none of his attributes were being suppressed, which suggested that the domain's suppression effect might only apply to close-range attacks, rendering remote attacks ineffective.

Seriously? For an assassin who specializes in hidden weapons, not allowing ranged tools was absurd.

After some thought, it was clear that Tang San couldn't have devised this domain on his own. The culprit was obvious—the Asura God of the god realm.

Sometimes, copying homework leads to mistakes.

The Asura God had clearly added an unnecessary embellishment to the domain, effectively nullifying one of Tang San's strengths.

However, with the support of the Asura God's divine artifact and divine techniques, it wasn't unreasonable for Tang San to abandon the pinnacle techniques of the Tang Sect, which he hadn't had time to fully master.

After all, in the original storyline, Tang San relied entirely on the Sea God's techniques in the later stages.

Techniques like the Guanyin Tear and Bodhi Blood were only usable because of the stacking of various opportunities that allowed him to perfect the Tang Sect's arts. Clearly, Tang San lacked those conditions at this moment.

Tang San's attacks grew increasingly ferocious, each strike seemingly delivered with all his might.

Ye Wen suspected that Tang San's domain also had a stamina-enhancing function, as the surge of divine power Tang San displayed had persisted for quite some time. Even with abundant divine energy, it shouldn't be expended so recklessly.

As for Ye Wen's evasive maneuvers, akin to a persistent fly, Tang San grew increasingly irritated. Though his eyes could track Ye Wen's movements, every time he closed in, Ye Wen skillfully dodged using body techniques that eerily resembled Tang San's own Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track.

This was a flaw in Tang San's domain. The sudden surge in power made it difficult for him to maintain perfect control, causing delays in his attacks.

Having grasped the basic effects of Tang San's domain, Ye Wen summoned his Sea God Trident.

Who doesn't know how to fight in close combat?
