Noctvara had gifted her warriors, invisible to daylight, cloaked in shadows. They began slipping into Camila's territories, sabotaging supply chains, poisoning wells, spreading fear.
Then came the rumors:
"Camila's trying to win Aiden back."
"She's using her child to manipulate Nathaniel."
"Her power is growing too fast."
"She'll take the throne if we don't stop her."

Everything was unraveling again.
Karl warned me that the dark kingdom had awakened. I saw it in the eyes of my people, fear. I saw it in the council's sudden silence, their refusal to meet.
