And then the mattress beside Ella sunk.
Ella's eyes snapped open, ''Who—"
Suddenly, a finger was pressed against her lips, ''It's me.''
The fog in her mind cleared up a little as she looked at him.
The man sat beside her on the bed. He had changed out of his formal outfit and was now wearing a black T-shirt paired with grey sweatpants.
Ella's eyes roamed over his body just for a moment before she looked up to meet his cloudy gaze.
''I can't sleep,'' Adrian dropped those words with a straight face.
Ella blinked, ''Uh… Baby…''
''Help me sleep.''
Eh… Excuse me? Sir, I am no sleeping pill... Ella forced a smile on her face, ''Help you sleep…?"
Adrian paused for a beat and looked at her with utmost seriousness as he whispered, ''Or we can do something else too?"
Ella's throat ran dry. Part intrigued and part confused, she repeated his last words, ''Something else?"
''Mm.''
