Prince Jayden's smile was disarming, I couldn't shake off the feeling that he had an ulterior motive for coming to my room.
I gave him the chance to speak first. He cleared his throat and covered the little space I created when he joined me on the bed where I sat looking as calm as ever.
"You look tired." He said, his hand moved to touch my forehead but I was quick to duck.
"I would appreciate it if you go straight to the point and tell me the reason why you're here."
I was uncomfortable around him, for wolves sake, why on earth was Zeeland's brother in my room when he knew I was his brother's mate?
Okay, not true mates but at least that was what we told the whole of the vampire kingdom, so literally all the vampires knew.
Why then was Jayden sitting so close to me that I could barely breath.
"I came for you."
"Me?" I repeated, confusion marring my face. "We are not exactly close, why are you here for me?"
