Albion looker at the two girls as he spoke. "So, we just take one of the Transport to reach the Castle".
Wynn nodded as she looked at him. "Yup, and Guards know us, so noting should be going Wr-".
The Moment Wynn was going to finish hee sentence she made Wind Barrier as he cut a vine from attack them, as they saw it was from Vesiculo, Atypus and Myrmeleo.
Eria looked at them, as she ready her stap. "Ok how the hell did the Traptrix even know we are here".
Albion just spoke in his head. "Great, my Assassin's are here, I wonder if they will fall for the Light Orb and Light Push Glyph strategy again?".
Wynn's wind barrier shimmered under the pressure of the incoming vines, her face tense as she looked around. "This is supposed to be sacred airspace. Even Traptrix shouldn't be able to breach this high up!"
Eria gritted her teeth, spinning her staff. "They must've tracked our elemental signatures. Or… they've got something nastier helping them."
Albion narrowed his eyes. "No way they made it up here alone. Which means…"
Suddenly, a sharp screech echoed through the air as a strange winged creature circled above—dark, wispy, and definitely not a native of the Wind Kingdom.
"A stowaway beast?" Wynn gasped.
Albion glanced at his surroundings quickly. "Okay. Plan Light Orb and Glyph is still in play, but let's add something new."
He reached into his pouch, pulled out one of his Light Glyph cards, and slapped it on the ground. "Light Push Glyph!"
The Traptrix girls staggered as a sudden burst of radiant energy surged beneath them—launching Atypus into a nearby wind lamppost, and forcing Vesiculo and Myrmeleo to leap back.
Wynn didn't hesitate, conjuring a slicing Wind Javelin that sent the vine traps flying.
Albion then tossed a bright ball of condensed sunlight up—Light Orb. The radiant light flared with a sharp intensity, temporarily blinding the Traptrix and their beast.
Eria used the moment of confusion to channel a wind tether to Albion and Wynn. "We're flying out—now!"
Albion nodded, grabbing the girls' hands. "To the nearest sky transport—go!"
As they launched off the platform, wind magic spiraling beneath their feet, Albion muttered under his breath, "They really are persistent. Guess the King's going to hear about this sooner than expected."
Vesiculo got up, as she looker at the other two Traptrix Girl's. "What are you wanting for, let's Go"
Myrmeleo looked at the clouds as she spoke. "Are the clouds solid enough to make Holes".
Atypus was the last one to get up, as she saw the other two go, but she stopped, as she saw them she just stepped back, as she found Gaurd and went to them.
Meanwhile back with Albion, Wynn, Eria and Gigobyte, they are seem flying, with Eria and Wynn using Air Push Glyph and Water Push Glyph to keep them self going
Albion looked behind them as he spoke. "They are very determined to Kill me".
Wynn groaned as she created another Air Push Glyph, the magic launching her further ahead. "Yeah, well, being the Primal Sovereign's kid really paints a target on your back!"
Eria, flying beside them with streaks of water swirling around her feet, glanced at Albion. "At this point I'm starting to think you're a magnet for assassination attempts."
Gigobyte, holding onto Albion's shoulder like a plush toy, let out a chirp of agreement.
Albion narrowed his eyes. "Okay, Plan: Get to the castle, warn Avian, then maybe—just maybe—I get to breathe without dodging poison needles and killer vines."
Wynn exhaled. "You wish. Welcome to royalty, Your Highness."
Meanwhile, back at the edge of the cloud path, Atypus approached the Wind Kingdom guards—nervous, fidgeting, but resolute.
"There's… a group of assassins in the kingdom," she said quietly. "They're targeting someone. I'm not helping them."
The guards narrowed their eyes but didn't raise weapons. One of them stepped forward. "Name. And reason for this betrayal?"
Atypus lowered her head. "Atypus… of the Traptrix. I… I didn't sign up for this."
Back in the skies, as the wind howled around them and Skyreach Aero Spire came into view, Albion whispered under his breath, "Please tell me Avian has some sort of anti-assassin defense system."
Wynn smirked. "Oh, he does. He just loves letting them almost succeed first."
Eria gave Albion a glance. "Welcome to the Wind Kingdom. Home of high stakes, high altitude, and zero chill."
Albion then let out his wings, as he saw one the transport Wyvern as he spoke. "Alright, time to crash, hold on tied".
As they both hold on to the 6 year old Dragon Boy hand, as they crashed intina Transport Wyvern, who was already being border one the people in the city, he was the same species as Avian as he fell down to the Third Layer of the Kingdom before he fixed him self
The Wyvern let out a startled screech as Albion, with Wynn and Eria clutching tightly to his hands, crashed into its side mid-flight. The impact caused the poor creature to spiral for a moment, throwing the boarding platform into chaos. Feathers scattered, people screamed, and the air shimmered with panicked Wind Magic trying to stabilize the scene.
The Avian conductor, a tall feathered man with green and white plumage much like Avian's own species, flailed his arms and shouted, "What in the stormcycle was that?!"
Albion, wings still fluttering and hair windswept, held up a hand as he floated a few feet in the air, helping steady Eria and Wynn beside him.
"SORRY! Emergency boarding!" he yelled, offering a sheepish grin.
Wynn, still catching her breath, muttered, "Emergency is one word for it…"
Eria adjusted her staff, glaring down at the lower levels. "We dropped to the third layer. So much for subtle."
The Avian conductor huffed and squawked. "You reckless kids! Do you have any idea how delicate sky traffic is up here?!"
Albion blinked. "Actually, no. First time in the Wind Kingdom."
The conductor froze, eyes narrowing. "...Wait. Are you—?"
Albion cut him off. "Prince Albion. Yes. We're being hunted. Transport us to Skyreach Castle immediately or there might not be a Kingdom left to complain about broken airways."
The Avian stared for a second, then whistled sharply. The platform shifted into motion again. "Get on, all of you. Strap in—you're flying first-class now."
As the wyvern resumed its climb through the floating layers of the kingdom, Albion sighed in relief, but his dragon eyes flickered.
The Traptrix girls hadn't given up yet.
They were still coming.
Back in the Castle, as Cartesian and Crunessa just looked out the window, as they narrows there eyes.
Cartesian was the first to speak she looked at the window. "What is all that Noise".
Crunessa then spoke as she looker at the window. "Don't know, but the smell, it smell's something or someone I know"
Meanwhile with The Kids, Chame and Tillroo who where the itrh other kids in the castle, just stopped and smell the air.
Chame's nose twitched as she looked up from the book she was pretending to read in the palace library. "...You smell that?"
Tillroo blinked, her ears perking up as she set down the wooden toy sword she had been swinging around. "Yeah. That's not the usual Wind Kingdom smell. Smells like—burnt feathers, fried air glyphs, and... is that... Hot Wyvern?"
Chame gasped. "It's Albion!"
They both looked at each other before bolting through the castle halls with childlike excitement, shouting, "ALBION'S HERE!!"
Scarlet, Aussa and Asterion. "How the hell do you know that smell!".
Back with the other dragon's.
Davon them spoke. "I am telling Lord Avian, the two of you, take the search party and get the prince"
As he went away, Crunessa and Cartesian wishlist, as they took thege Dragon Search party to try lower layers.
Meanwhile in trh Lower layer, the group was still running from the Traptrix Girl's.
In the lower layer of the Wind Kingdom, chaos was still very much in full swing.
Albion was half-running, half-flying while dragging Wynn and Eria behind him, weaving through sky bridges, marketplaces, and confused citizens yelling about "crazy kids" and "what in the clouds is going on?!"
Behind them, Vesiculo was leaping from rooftop to rooftop with eerie agility, lashing vines in their direction, while Myrmeleo launched piercing root strikes through gaps in the platforms.
Albion glanced back with a slight growl. "These girls seriously don't give up! Didn't we already do this chase scene yesterday?!"
Wynn grunted as she used another burst of wind glyph to clear a gap. "Apparently they didn't get the memo! Or they really hold grudges!"
Eria was already prepping a barrier glyph. "Next time, we throw Albion at them and run the other way!"
Gigobyte, flying beside them, let out a worried squeak as a vine nearly clipped its tail.
Meanwhile, back at the castle—
Asterion blinked, utterly baffled. "Wait—so you're telling me you know what Albion smells like that well?"
Chame, puffing with pride, nodded. "Yup. Mud pit survival bonding. Also, burnt glyphs smell a very specific way after he botches one mid-flight."
Aussa deadpanned. "I regret asking."
Back with Crunessa and Cartesian, they landed on a lower balcony as their search party fanned out. The wind was picking up oddly—disturbed by something. Or someone.
Crunessa turned to Cartesian. "He's close. I can feel the wind reacting to him."
Cartesian narrowed her eyes. "We'll find him… but if those assassins are here too—"
Suddenly a distant explosion of wind and light cut her off. A wave of glyph energy burst over a nearby rooftop.
Crunessa smirked. "Found him."
The trio with the Avian Conductor as they hit a dead end with Transport Wyvern, as they turned their heads to see Vesiculo and Myrmeleo.
Myrmeleo pulled out her dagger as she spoke. "Finally we catch up, now time to end this".
Vesiculo looked at the Charmer girls and the Avian. "You can leave, we won't kill you".
The Avian Conductor dropped the kids and ran, as Vesiculo looked at Albion
"Same, I have to kill you, you're very cute; I would have liked to keep you".
Albion looked at her as he was making a Light Orb Glyph and Light Push Glyph. "Will, sorry to say, I work he dying here".
Myrmeleo looked at them as she spoke. "Yeah that won't work twice, today we kill the Prince".
The Moment they heard that, everyone felt the air had heated up, as they felt the heat in the air was not normal.
Wynn then spoke looking at Albion. "Um, is this you".
Albion looked at her as he spoke. "No, this is not me".
"END WHO MAY I ASK!".
A Piller of fire was given, and they turned their heads to see it was Cartesian as she walked up to them, as her sword was being dragged into the ground.
Vesiculo just as she spoke. "Blazing Cartesian. The Virtuous"
Then they saw the other dragon from the Albion Search part; half of them were in their human form, and the other half was in their true dragon form.
"There!"
Then, Avian Guards Vesiculo and Myrmeleo as they see who the voice came from, and it is Atypus, as they look betrayed.
Eria looked at Albion as she spoke. "Please tell the dragons are with you".
Albion looked at the Search part as he spoke. "Yeah, they are the Search Part sent to look for".
Wynn fell to her knees as she spoke. "We are safe"
A few minutes later, Albion was now in Lord Avian Castle, as a letter has been sent to Albion The Second that his son has been found, as one of the Stardust Dragon a new letter.
"The King Shall be arriving soon, he will also be bringing the Ruler of the Traptrix Nation, to see what she will do with the Assassin".
In the grand halls of Lord Avian's castle, the tension had begun to settle, but the atmosphere still hummed with anticipation.
Albion sat near the main hearth, still surrounded by Wynn, Eria, and Gigobyte. He had a mug of something warm in his hand—some kind of Sky Root Tea, apparently good for shock and overuse of Light Glyphs.
Chame, Tillroo, Aussa, Asterion, and Scarlet had finally joined him, and the reunion was as loud, emotional, and chaotic as expected from a bunch of kids who had just survived an assassination attempt.
Eria kept glancing at the guards stationed near the grand entrance. "I still can't believe we fought Traptrix assassins two days in a row. What is this? A drama serial?"
Wynn leaned back against the wall, arms crossed. "If this is a drama, I want a new writer. Preferably one who doesn't enjoy nearly killing us."
Asterion piped in, eyeing Albion. "You… didn't actually think that Light Orb and Push trick would work twice, did you?"
Albion shrugged. "It worked once. Worth a shot."
Across the hall, Crunessa and Cartesian stood by the window, speaking with two of the Stardust Dragon messengers.
"The King has been informed," one said. "He shall arrive by sundown, and alongside him... the Ruler of the Traptrix Nation herself."
Crunessa's eyes narrowed. "Bringing the queen of assassins to our door? That's either a declaration of peace—or a trap."
Cartesian, still with soot and scorch marks from her dramatic entrance, dragged her sword across the marble floor before resting it against her shoulder. "If she tries anything, I'll remind her why they still call me The Virtuous Blaze."
Meanwhile, Albion was already processing what this meant.
My father's coming here himself. That's either good... or very bad.
Eria seemed to read his face. "You okay? You look like you've been handed a test you didn't study for."
Albion gave her a half-hearted smile. "Let's just say… it's never boring being royalty."
Suddenly the massive entrance doors creaked open again. A new messenger, wearing the sigil of the Royal Flame Court, walked in briskly.
He knelt before Albion, presenting a scroll sealed with golden wax.
"To Prince Albion, Son of Albion the Second. His Majesty sends his final word before his arrival: 'Let your enemies fear the light, and let your allies know you are no longer hidden. The time for veils is over.'"
Chame blinked. "Okay, that sounds like something's about to go down."
Aussa frowned. "I think this meeting between kings might be bigger than just us kids getting attacked…"
In a different room, as the Kids were put there to relax.
Albion looked at Chame and Tillroo, as he went to his maids. "So um".
They just stared to cry and hug him, as they landed to the floor, as they hugged there Young Master, they both spoke together
"Young Master, I thought we lost, I thought after that Flying Trying we lost you for Good".
Albion blinked, caught completely off guard as Chame and Tillroo tackled him to the floor in a whirlwind of sobs and tightly clinging arms.
He didn't say anything for a moment—not because he didn't want to, but because the sheer wave of emotion crashing into him made his chest feel tight. Not from pain, but... from warmth. He hadn't realized how much he missed them.
"I-I'm fine," he finally muttered, voice a bit hoarse. "Just... had a long detour. That's all."
Chame pulled back slightly, her eyes watery but still sharp. "You were missing for 2 days, 2 days, we thought we lost you, we even sneaked into the Search Party to find you".
Albion chuckled a bit as he spoke. "Yeah, I guess that makes sense, but hey now it is all ok".
Asterion and Scarlet looked at eachother, as they then went to Albion side, as then looked at him with Both Nervous and Guilty look.
Albion looked at the two kids Responsible for this whole mess. "So um".
Scarlet looked at him, as she spoke. "Listen um, we are sorry for everyhting, so um.... Do you forgive Us"
Albion looked at them as he spoke in his head. "Should I forgive them, they are reason I got lost, they are the reason I almost drown, but they are Kids, 6 year-old Dragon Kids Like me, and everyone makes Dum choice"
"I don't forgive you".
They both looked at eachother as Asterion was the first to speak. "That Figure's"
"That is what I would say, if i didn't meet Eria and Wynn, do you two doing what you did I meet great people". Albion finished looking at them.
The room, once buzzing with low murmurs and rustling from the plush pillows and blankets strewn across the floor, fell into a gentle stillness as Albion's words sank in.
Scarlet blinked. "Wait… so… you do forgive us?"
Albion gave a faint grin, eyes tired but soft. "Yeah. I do. I just wanted to be dramatic for a second."
Asterion let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding, flopping back onto the cushion behind him. "Thank the Skies, I thought I was going to have to live the rest of my life carrying that guilt."
Chame, however, was still glaring at Eria. Tillroo didn't even blink, her entire aura radiating competitive tension.
Wynn noticed it first, leaning sideways to whisper to Eria. "Um… I think we just got labeled as... rivals?"
Eria raised a brow, following Wynn's eyes to the two dragon girls staring holes into them.
"Yeah," Eria muttered under her breath, "they've got the 'first wives club' energy."
Gigobyte, curled up near the window, lazily opened one eye and yawned. "I give it three days before a food fight breaks out."
Chame finally broke the silence, looking directly at Albion, ignoring the Charmers. "You better not vanish again. If you do, I'll... I'll throw your whole Light Orb collection out the window."
Albion paled slightly. "You wouldn't."
"Try me," she deadpanned.
Tillroo crossed her arms. "And if we find out it was because you were running off with them, we'll drag you back ourselves."
Wynn leaned closer to Eria again. "...So when are we officially not in danger of being shanked?"
"Give it a week," Eria replied, entirely serious.
Despite the tension, a warm laugh bubbled out of Albion. It echoed off the walls like sunlight after a storm, and for a moment—just a moment—it felt like everything was okay again.
He looked at everyone, his voice softer now. "I'm glad to be back. I'm glad you all came looking for me."
There was a shared silence then. Not heavy. Just comfortable.
Then Chame asked innocently, "So… how exactly did you meet those two?"
Scarlet's eyes sparkled. "Oh yeah. Story time."
Albion sighed, falling back into a pillow with a groan. "Do I have to?"
Asterion grinned. "Yes. Details. All of them."
