Kiro slowly lifts his head up and says
"You're the referee!"
"Heyaaa!! follow me" said the referee as he heads towards the temple.
Kiro looks confused and he looks at Haru and asks "Is he going to be the one to train me?"
To which he nods and he screams at the referee " You gotta pay me for breaking my ice bird!" .
"It's your fault for entering the space of the temple " replies the referee.
Kiro heads towards the referee and asks him
"Wait so..-"
"Yes, it was your leader who requested me personally to train you." Answered the Referee.
"He can read minds just so ya'know" shouts Haru
-"He's got this perv-"
WHAMMM!!!
The ref disappears from Kiro's vision and gets behind Kuro and tosses him to the ground.
"That ought to teach him how to talk to his elders" says the referee as he claps and cleans his hands.
"Literally hard life" thinks Kiro as he sees the Kuro on the ground.
They head inside the temple and the Ref states.
"Let me formally introduce myself even though you know me as the referee.
My name is Osamu and I'm the guardian of this temple, not a monk but someone who looks after the temple since it was abandoned."
ROUND 1 FIGHT!!!(GAME SOUND INTENSIFIES FROM HARU'S GAMEPAD)
"Oiiee Haru!! Take your game outside" shouts
Osamu while giving a death stare.
Haru heads out murmuring to himself.
"Quite a temper for someone looking after the temp-"
"I can hear you!" Says Osamu staring at Haru going out. He heads out and lays down at a rock and continues to play his game.
Osamu sighs and continues to tell Kiro about himself.
" -and so that's how it came to be"
" That's so cool-" exclaims Kiro as he gleams towards Osamu.
"Your training will begin only after you fill that 1000 Litre Water Storage and by the way you only get water from the bottom of the mountain " says Osamu as he heads out.
"HAAAA????" Cries Kiro.
The mountain had 10,000 steps and there was water source coming out at the bottom of the mountain which Kiro had to fill and take to the top. He goes and picks up two buckets and heads down the mountain.
"Good luck Kirooo!!" Cheers Haru
" By the way you come here and help me separate the chaff from rice" says Osamu.
"Ehhhh?? Why do I have to." Exclaims Haru in disappointed face.
"Don't you want to eat dinner?" Asks Osamu.
Haru pouts and says
"Quite demanding from a ref-"
"I can hear you" shouts Osamu as he separates the Chaff.
"Coming right up Sir!!!" Screams Haru as he heads towards him.
After an hour Kiro appears from the steps with two buckets of water. He tries to gasp for air.
" How am I going to fill that huge storage"
Cried Kiro as he comes crawling and fills that storage.
After emptying the bucket he heads down.
"Try to channel your mana into your feet."
Shouts Osamu at Kiro.
"Why didn't I think of that!! But i doubt my mana will last till the filling of the storage"
Thinks Kiro as he heads down.
Haru continues to pick out the impurities from rice as he pouts.
The Sun begins to set
Kiro had only filled 200 litres of water,
"My mana is draining quicker than I thought."
Thinks Kiro as he looks at the amount left to be filled.
"Dinner is ready!!!" Shouts Osamu from the distance, Haru was blowing the furnace with teary face.
"Damnn you Hina!! She deliberately put me up to this!" Thinks Haru as he blows at the furnace and a picture of Hina pops up laughing in his mind.
" The fire is going out!!!" Shouts Osamu staring at Haru.
"Save mee!!!!!" Screams Haru as he continues to blow the fire to cook.
Kiro shouts back from distance "You guys go ahead and eat! I will have it after I'm done filling the water"
And he heads down to fill the bucket.
Haru and Osamu continue to have dinner.
SEVERAL HOURS HAS PASSED
The Full moon is up high…
Kiro is halfway done with filling the water,
"Arghhh!! Halfway more to go" shouts Kiro looking at the water storage.
"Psssttt" whispers Haru, as he tries to grab attention of Kiro. He looks back and Haru whispers-
"With my Ice I Can-"
" No you won't" says a voice coming up from the Roof. As he looks up Osamu was sitting there.
"I will be heading inside, Good luck Kiro!!!"
Says Haru as he heads inside their room at the temple.
Osamu looks at Kiro and tells him-
"You know you can converse your mana by limiting the flow of it. You just need to balance how it flows."
"Yeahh and I can channel some of my mana into the water to reduce the weight" wonders Kiro as he heads down.
Osamu smiles by reading his thoughts.
Kiro reaches the bottom and he fills his bucket. He takes a deep breath and starts to feel his flow of mana and controls the mana by slowly releasing it into the bucket.
He grabs the buckets and starts heading up the mountain by concentrating every step channelling his mana into his feet as well as to his bucket.
RATTLE!! Sound comes from the bushes and it was a rat which distracted Kiro's concentration and his mana channelling breaks.Hence, his bucket falls down spilling all the water.
"Damnnn you rat!" Shouts Kiro as he grabs the buckets and heads down to fill it.
SEVERAL HOURS PASSED AND THE SUN STARTS TO RISE.
"FINALLYY!!! " Screams Kiro as he sees the Storage to be filled, he falls down to the ground and gives a deep sigh.
Haru yawns and wakes up by the scream.
"Ohhh you managed to do it." Says Haru with his eyes half opened.
Kiro falls asleep on the ground due to exhaustion and hunger.
He wakes up to see that he's inside the room and sees Kuro at the corner playing his game.
"How long have I been asleep?" Asks Kiro.
"1 day" replied Haru as he continues to tap his game.
YOU WIN!!( sound from Haru's GAMEPAD)
He puts down his game pad and goes out to bring food for Kiro.
"Here you go Kiro Channn!!" Says Haru as he brings food inside the room.
"Thank you Haru!! Time to dig in!" Exclaims Kiro as and he starts to dig in.
Haru bursts into laughter looking at Kiro gulp down everything.
DOOR OPENS
Osamu enters and asks "How are you feeling Kiro"
"Doing better now, Sensei!!" Replies Kiro as he puts down his empty plate.
"Alright then the real training starts from now"
Exclaims Osamu as he grins.
