Silence.
A silence more terrifying than gunfire.
Jung Kok stood amidst a sea of corpses, blood slowly flowing through the cracks of the broken floor. His face was empty. His eyes frozen.
Min was dead by his hand.
Revenge was served.
But why did his heart feel even more shattered?
Jung Joon slowly approached, carrying an old leather bag he had taken from Min's corpse.
"This..." said Jung Joon, handing over the bag.
Jung Kok glanced at it, uninterested.
But a small voice inside him whispered:
"Open it. Your truth isn't over yet."
With bloodied hands, Jung Kok opened the bag.
And his world crumbled once again.
The Truth That Shatters
Inside the bag—old files, secret agreement documents, blurred photographs.
All of them connecting... their father, Hwang.
Hwang had once worked with Min's father.
Not as enemies.
As allies.
Long ago, before all the tragedies began — Hwang and Min's father built a dark empire together.
They had promised to divide the underworld between them.
But Hwang betrayed his own friend — destroying Min's family in a single bloody night to establish absolute power.
All of this... had been planned.
Even the enmity between Jung Kok and Min.
But... there was more.
In one of the files, Jung Kok found secret medical records:
The real Min — had been kidnapped and replaced several years ago.
The Min he killed tonight...
wasn't the Min he knew.
Only a clone.
Only a tool.
Only a fake shadow.
His true friend — lost in the darkness.
Exploding Emotions
Jung Kok felt his stomach twist. The world around him blurred.
He punched the wall with all his strength.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
The bones in his hand cracked, blood gushed out.
"All of this was a lie... it was all just our father's game!" Jung Kok roared, his voice echoing in the empty hall.
Jung Joon looked at his brother — and for the first time, he looked truly afraid.
Not afraid of an enemy.
But afraid of the raging madness burning in Jung Kok's eyes.
Internal Struggle
"Our father... he manipulated us," Jung Kok whispered. "From the very beginning. We're not fighters. We're... tools."
Jung Joon grabbed Jung Kok's shoulders.
"But we can choose. We're not kids anymore."
Jung Kok gave a small, broken laugh.
"Choose? We were born in blood, hyung. There's no choice in a world like this."
Jung Joon stayed silent.
In his heart, he knew.
Whatever happened after this... the younger brother he once knew, the hopeful Jung Kok — died tonight.
A Mad Decision
Jung Kok slowly lifted his head.
His eyes — were no longer the eyes of an ordinary man.
They were the eyes of someone who had decided to change the world... with blood.
"I'm going to end all of this," he said quietly.
"Not just Min. Not just our father's organization. I'm going to burn the entire underworld — from the roots to the sky."
Jung Joon was stunned.
"Jung Kok... that's suicide."
"If that's the price of freedom... I accept."
An Unexpected Twist
Suddenly — a voice rang through the complex's loudspeakers.
"Good, Jung Kok. Good, Jung Joon. You really are Hwang's sons."
The voice... was not the voice of the Min they had just killed.
On the large screen at the end of the hall — a face appeared.
The real Min.
The Min they killed earlier... was only bait — a doppelgänger trained to impersonate Min.
(Prepared for years — Min had planned a 'backup' escape plan if his original plan failed.)
The Min who had disappeared years ago.
He was still alive.
And now, crueler than they ever imagined.
The real Min smiled coldly.
"I want to see you both destroy each other with your own hands."
Behind Min... a long line of mercenaries stood.
Ready to kill.
A New War Begins
Jung Kok and Jung Joon looked at each other.
They were tired.
They were wounded.
But they knew — there was no other way.
No place to run.
No place to hide.
They only had each other.
With heavy breaths, Jung Kok pulled a knife from his own shoulder.
Blood spurted out. He didn't care.
He just smiled at the screen.
"If you want us, Min... come and get us yourself."
He threw the knife toward the camera.
ZRAAK!
The screen shattered.
Red lights flashed across the entire complex.
The emergency alarms blared.
The gates of the final war had been opened.
