Sound of animals running*
Alice in her fairy form rush out of the bush screaming -
"Hirata now!"
I took a deep breath and gather all my strength and prepare to strike at the wild boar chasing her,my right hand starts glowing ,although i cant feel magic ,it was clear that it was flowing with power , the next second the head of the wild boar was completely destroyed by the punch .
Feeling confident i smirk,alice flew towards me and transform into her human state-
"eww that is not a pleasant sign at all"
"what did you expect was gonna happen "
i ask while preparing the meat for our dinner,it was almost night ,i started a fire near a ruin which look like it used to be a mansion of a duke .I took a look at alice who was looking at the roasting meat ,i smile and ask
"i though you said it wasn't a pleasant sight"
she wears a big smile and reply-
"the situation has change"
She pick one of the roasting meat with her mouth watering and continue talking-
"today was a successfull hunt, i didnt expect that arm to do that much damage,maybe its the material"
she took a big bite and continue-
"you might be able to go up against a normal fallen"
i look at her with an unconvinced face and conplained-
"we almost died!,whats up with this arm ,even tho its strong i can only punch 4 times"
"thats because the magic use to run it is form another source and not from your body,i also think its enough as for now"she said while chewing.
i look at the ground and let out a deep breath
"4 punch and all we got was a wild boar and there you are expecting me to win against a fallen"
while we were arguing a sudden explosion occurs in the middle of the forest.it was near
we look at each other and nod in agreement and hurried to check the location of the explosion .
The explosion continued,we were nearing the location and heard swords clashing and chanting.we hide and slowly approch the area. a battle was taking place between 2 sides ,the first thing i rercognised was that one side were wearing cloths from my world,many bodies were already laying on the ground,
Against them was 1 man ,eyes as red as blood and dress in black and white hair.
He look like a character from my novel ,i thought to myself.
"that mana,that spell"
i look towards Alice who looked surprise,she look toward me and continue-
"if im not wrong that guy is from the Land of dawn ruled by one of the sins"
someone related to the 7 sins this early i said to myself.My attention shifted when another explosion happened,one of guy shouted-
"You bastard you'll pay for that"
His sword began to burn intensely and he was supported by 2 guys casting fireball .the next scene was unexpected ,his swords were stop with one hand ,although the sword was burning it dosn't seem to bother him much ,he then grab the guy in his face and use him as a shield against the fireball.
The one who cast the fireball take a step back with their face full of despair .
"Is that all you got "
The guy in the black suit said with a dissappointed face.
"the rulers have underestimated too much by sending fallen like you,your a dissappointment compared to the hero yuki"
"yuki?"
I thought to myself .
the 2 fallen loses their will to fight and start running away.
"why have i been task to chase after those ants"
He said while creating a sword out of blood and giant wings out of blood,and chase after them.
the moment they left i felt relieved and let out a deep breath .
"hir-hirata?"
i look towards alice whose face was filled with uneasiness and ask-
"are you ok?"
She pointed at our back ,when i check to see what she was pointing i immediately went silent ,a giant snake was staring at us the whole time .I waste no time i grab Alice and starts running ,the snake began chasing us and in fustration Alice cried out-
"why are everyone targetting me,im not even a good source of food"
I look at her while running and answered-
"your small and glowing bright as hell ,your an ideal plaything for animals"
I said with an angry tone,suddenly the snake let out a big cry as if it was hurt ,i look back and saw a large blood spear piercing through the snake .
I stop and look in confusion but the very next second another blood spear flew towards me ,no time to dodge i punch the spear with all i had ,it burst and return to normal blood on the ground.
"oh ,intresting"
A voice coming from the darkness near the corpse of the snake,it was the same guy from before , i thought to myself ,f**k we cought his attention .He checks my right arm with a smile and says-
"you got quite an idea there"
but his smile vanish as soon as she saw Alice next to me,His eyes fix on her and fill with question and confusion.
"What is the queen of the ancient forest doing here in the demon continent "
Alice take a stance to defend herself and is on high alert.
"well it dosn't matter why your here ,what i'm curious about is why your defending one of the fallen "
He said with an unfriendly tone.
"he is not one of them ,he's been abandoned and cursed by the rulers!"
She said trying to defend me while i stood still helplessly .He chuckled and switch to a serious face-
"So what? Should i feel sorry for him?"
He gives off a huge aura ,so much that alice could no longer fly and fell to the ground terrified .He spoke in an intimidating voice-
"it dosn't change the fact that your one of the fallen and therefore our enemy"
He rush towards me with his blood sword ,no other option left i responded back with a punch with all my might ,his sword and my fist clash ,we were both knockback but the difference in our strength was clear ,he was not even slightly hurt while my arms was trembling .
"hmmm i dont quite understand"
He said looking confuse while i was struggling to get up.
"i dont sense any magic from you yet you manage to block my blood arts"
He look at my right arm and smiled .
"the queen was known for her dangerious forest but i didnt know she has other talent ,she might be a good gift for my king"
angered by his words i replied
"you f**ker ,i wont let you take her "
I rush towards him thinking,i can only strike 2 more times i have to make this counts but suddenly the air around me changed ,His smile slowing fade and the next thing i know was me blown off and hitting a tree.
"uhaaa"
I throw up blood ,my vision blurry and he just stands there with a giant hummer twice my size made of blood .
"i was going easy on you ,you should have just stayed still or this wouldn't have happen"
As he was approching me to finish me off Alice flew in front of me and transform into her human form .
"ill go with you"
she said with a fustrated voice,while the guy stood still confused.
"if you spare him ,ill come with you without resisting "
She said with a determined face.As soon as she said that, he gave a long look at both of us and give a huge sight .
"You spoil all the fun out of it "
as soon as he finish saying it, blood starts gathering around Alice's leg and pop up to create a cage ,forcing her to revert to her fairy form .she didnt resist ,she turn toward me and in a sorrow voice spoke you.
"i guess our journey has to wait"
I tried to responce to her but my struggle was in vain my mouth was full of blood ,unable to do anything i helplessly watch him take alice.
my vision bluring and started to black out....
"no i must....."
