Kell opened the door and sat in the car next to Karlos, taking a seat in the back.
The butler was driving the car, and another man sat in the front passenger seat, beside the driver.
That man was a member of the scientific community.
After the world changed, Karlos gained mysterious powers. He defeated his fellow gangsters, crushed his enemies, and rose to become the ruler of the underworld.
He gathered a massive army and consolidated his rule.
He divided his forces into ten "Wolves," his commanders. Under each Wolf, ten thousand men and women operated.
"Butler Tony, our assumptions were correct — the signals are coming from the Uaan Sect," said Scientist Dav.
"So, Jacob is finally active again," Tony replied.
They were heading towards Vegas City.
During the journey, many questions stirred in Kell's mind.
Karlos noticed Kell deep in thought and realized he knew little of what had happened.
So, he began explaining everything — Jiya's grandfather's sacrifice, the mystery of Element L37, and more.
As Karlos spoke, Kell's eyes grew wider and wider. He felt a surge of pride for Jiya, but also sorrow and guilt.
A storm of emotions swept through him.
Before long, they reached their destination: Vegas City.
All the Wolves stood lined up, greeting Karlos with solemn respect.
Each Wolf radiated a distinct presence and aura:
Wolf 1: Girath — the leader of the Wolves. A tall, muscular man with red hair and red eyes. His body bore countless scars from endless battles, testifying to his passion and perseverance.
Wolf 2: Mido — the vice-leader. A tall, muscular man with whitish hair and calm, white eyes. The strategist of Karlos's army, with a brilliant mind.
Wolf 3: Mafyuu — a cold, emotionless woman. Ruthless yet stunningly beautiful, with bluish hair and fairy-blue eyes.
Wolf 4: A mad demon — the strongest among the Wolves, a ruthless warrior and a seeker of war.
Wolves 5 & 6: Sera and Hira — beautiful twin sisters, gentle and polite yet immensely strong. One wielded ice, the other fire. Their combination was one of the deadliest forces.
Wolf 7: A masked, mysterious shadowy figure.
Wolf 8: Not present. He appeared only when someone was about to die. His troops shared his ghostly nature.
Wolf 9: A giant, chubby man with the power of shapeshifting.
Wolf 10: Neon — an old man, silent and profound. His blade was an extension of his heart, his spirit like a devouring sea.
"All is ready," announced Butler Tony.
"Yes, sir!" shouted all the force members, their voices brimming with energy.
"We are heading to the Uaan Sect," Karlos addressed the troops. "Be careful. This could be our last battle.
We may not live to see another day, but we will challenge the force that threatens to destroy us, devour us, rule us.
My soldiers, do not fear! Fear is death! This is our final journey — the path to the destiny we seek!
Are you ready to kill your enemies? Are you ready to take their heads?"
"Yes, sir!" they roared, their auras burning bright.
Jacob, Karlos's rival, had long awaited this moment. Now, the time had finally come.
Some teams boarded helicopters, some teleported, some flew, and others cloaked themselves as they approached the Uaan Sect.
Karlos, Butler Tony, and Kell traveled with Wolf 3's teleportation team — one of whose members had teleportation abilities.
Some members sneaked into the Uaan Sect by suppressing their breathing and energy, following Wolf 3's orders.
Karlos looked towards the Uaan Sect, a devilish smile playing across his face.
"We'll stay hidden for two days. Once all teams arrive, we'll launch the attack," Karlos said to Butler.
Understanding the plan, Butler ordered teams 3 and 4 to scout for a safe hiding spot, far from the Sect's eyes.
They found themselves atop Juzi Mountain, near the Uaan Sect.
After some time, they discovered a large, glowing cave a short distance away.
The mountains and valleys soared into the sky, touching the clouds.
Inside the cave, bioluminescent plants and small glowing creatures lit the surroundings.
Deeper within, they found a natural pool, fed by a small fountain.
Water from the pool flowed through cracks in the ground, feeding into a distant river.
They decided to stay there for two days.
During that time, one team gathered food, while another collected firewood.
Butler also sent their location to the scientists who were coordinating outside the Wolves' leadership.
After two days, all teams regrouped at the cave. They rested briefly and began preparing for war.
Now, we return to the present — they are gathered outside the Uaan Sect, ready to strike...
