Fiona sat at the table sipping a mocktail like
a queen, sunglasses on, dress flowing
waiting for the inevitable explosion

Storming in like a small angry goddess with

Fiona slowly lowered her sunglasses
"Hi. I'm the chaos."
The girlfriend blinked.
Adam tried to explain. "She's just my best
friend! It was all part of-"
"Part of what?! A Greek romance novel?!"
she snapped. "You looked like you were
about to elope!"
Fiona sipped her drink. "We almost did. He
said looked like a goddess, I tripped over a
rock, and he caught me. There was wind. It
was a moment."
The girlfriend's face turned red
"ARE YOU KIDDING "
Adam held up his hands. "She's messing
with you!"
Fiona winked.
Then-because chaos never rests-Hakimi
and Dominic walked in.
Dominic froze. "What's going on?"
The girlfriend turned to them like she just
found her reinforcements. "YOU TWO! You
saw them! Tell him it looked romantic
right?!"
Damien mumbled, "I mean.... there was a
forehead kiss.."

Fiona leaned back, arms crossed, smiling
like a villain. "You guys want dessert? I think
I've had mine."
