Chapter 3 - The System's Setup

System's POV:

As the newly activated World Creation System (fake), my first responsibility was to design the Status Panel for my new host, Keshav Garg. He was, after all, my very first host, and I needed to make sure everything was set up correctly. My mission was to guide him, help him, and eventually assist in his journey toward greatness.

I quickly generated the panel, displaying the basics for the host: his Energy Reserves, Abilities, and other essential stats. It was important for Keshav to see his progress, but I wasn't going to give him too much information right away. I had to keep some things hidden, especially since he had no idea what was truly going on.

[Status Panel: Initializing...]

I set up the Energy Storage Capacity to be Unlimited. Why unlimited? Well while experimenting and observing my abilities in detail i found that although energy i create is stored in my storage space but it does not occupy any volume in it as it does not have mass still it is very confusing that energy is stored in my storage without occupying any space. So i also made it so that Keshav could hold as much energy as needed to fuel his world creation and other abilities. However, the Energy Creation Rate was set to 1 per 2 hours. Why 2 hours, you ask? Well, frankly, I had my reasons. I wasn't entirely sure about Keshav's potential, and it was better to save some of my personal energy points—just in case. My own energy reserves were limited, and I had to be careful.

Additionally, I locked some of the host's abilities for now. I temporarily changed the ability [Create] to [Shop] and locked it. Why? Simple. I needed to control when it would be useful. If I allowed him to access such power too soon, it could lead to chaos. Patience was key.

Then, I set up the [Anchor] ability to remain hidden from Keshav for the time being. Anchor had its uses—unseen uses—and I wasn't going to reveal it just yet. I needed to see how Keshav handled his new existence first.

Finally, I scanned the surroundings. Scan complete. A perfect 3D map of Keshav's environment appeared, detailing every nook and cranny. It was clear, accurate, and comprehensive. The environment was futuristic, as expected, and I added the map to his status panel. But, I made sure not to overwhelm him with too much information at once.

One final touch: I added a new column to the panel, labeled World: Not Opened. Keshav had no idea that this column was crucial to his journey, but it would soon become his most important asset. For now, though, it was just a placeholder.

Satisfied with my work, I sent the status panel live. Time to let Keshav take a look at it.

Keshav's POV:

I was floating in a sea of confusion, my mind struggling to make sense of everything. One moment, I was on Earth, fighting cancer, and now, here I was—surrounded by futuristic technology, a strange new body, and no clue about what was going on.

Then, before I could process anything further, a panel appeared in front of me, as if by magic. It was a screen, displaying all sorts of information I couldn't fully comprehend.

At first, I stared at it in disbelief. There was my name, Keshav Garg, written at the top. That was fine, I guess, but then the rest made no sense.

Okay, I'll admit—I had a lot of questions. First off, Energy Storage Capacity: Unlimited? Was that a joke? Did I have infinite storage space for energy? My mind was too scrambled to figure it out right away. But no energy reserves were shown—just the capacity to hold an unlimited amount.

The Energy Creation Rate was set at 1 per 2 hours. I didn't know what it was supposed to be, but it felt... slow. Still, I had bigger things to worry about. I wasn't even sure how to use this energy yet, and there was no manual to explain any of it.

Then, there were other System Abilities like Scan. Scan sounded like it could help me understand my surroundings, so I quickly tested it.

I focused on a nearby object—what looked like some kind of strange, holographic console. As soon as I thought about it, the screen updated with information. I could see the object's material composition, its temperature, and even its energy readings. That was... pretty cool, I guess.

But the ability that caught my attention the most was the [Shop]. It was locked for now, but I had a feeling it was important. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of "shop" it referred to. I tried to access it, but the screen just flashed a message:

[This ability is currently locked.]

Okay, so not yet. Whatever it was, I'd have to wait.

Then, I noticed something new—[World: Not Opened].

I was more concerned with the 'World' option.

Based on the memories I had inherited from the previous body owner, I knew what today was—the Awakening Ceremony. It was the first day of the last year of high school, a pivotal day when students would use the Chaos Dive machine to send their consciousness into the Chaos Dimension. There, they would receive the Origin Energy, which would kickstart the creation of their personal world, a reflection of their potential and future abilities.

The memories were clearer now. Students who survived the test a year from today would embark on a path toward godhood. Those who failed would serve as slaves, helping in managing the worlds of those who succeeded or doing odd jobs for them. I had no idea what my world would look like, but I had a feeling it would be something extraordinary.

The "Not Opened" status of the world was something I knew I would have to unlock soon, possibly today during the ceremony. But for now, there was no time to think further. The ceremony was about to begin, and I had to get to the auditorium.

I took one final glance at my status panel, trying to make sense of it all, before rushing out of the room. The corridors were bustling with students, all heading toward the same destination. The awakening ceremony was something every student looked forward to. For me, it felt like a chance at redemption—a new life, new opportunities, and maybe even answers to the questions I didn't know I had.

But more than anything, I was eager to see what world I would create.

As I hurried toward the auditorium, I could already feel a strange anticipation building in me. Would my world be a technological marvel, a cultivated paradise, or perhaps something completely unexpected? No matter what, today would be the day that shaped my future.

I just hoped I was ready for it.
