Soon after David left the area, the two men were seen standing on the rooftop of the nearby building.
"Why would the lion be in a place like this?" the first man asked with a frown on his face.
"Don't ask me, I am also as confused as you Nathan, my ability clearly points out that the lion apparently took a cab then came to this hostel before leaving again." The second man said.
"But it doesn't make any sense, if there was a huge lion bouncing around town things would have gone to hell but the people look like nothing happened, that is clearly impossible unless the lion can transform into a human."
"Yeah, I'm also confused about that, also I just checked and discovered that this particular hostel belongs to the student who fought with the lion."
Nathan crossed his arms and said "So did you mistake the lion for the kid or what? Eric, stop beating about the bush and get to the point."
Eric looked into the sky then said with a frown on his face "I just felt the lion come back but when I looked over all I saw were people going about their daily lives so this must mean one of two things"
"One, the lion took the form of the boy which is very unlikely considering he was able to adapt so well without losing to his instincts."
"Or the boy has some power that can totally assimilate the lion with himself since that would be the only reason why I could only feel the lion's aura after the fight and besides there was no corpse in sight so that would be more plausible."
"So you mean there's no danger or cause for concern right?" Nathan asked.
"Yeah, but just in case I just felt him leave so we'll follow for a while and affirm if he's hostile or not." Eric said then sat down on the rooftop.
"So what are you waiting for? Let's move now"
"No, wait for a while, let him roam about for a bit then we'll move." Eric said then closed his eyes.

David had already taken a cab to the most affluent parts of Lagos, a place where only the rich could afford to live then bought a house there at a sky high price.
The house was very close to the sea and looking of from the window you could see the sea stretching out.
He was very satisfied with the house and then went out to buy some clothes then he moved into the house.
He was still unsure of what he would do from that moment on and only hoped that he had covered his trails enough for others to not find him
But when he remembered the strange man that had followed him with his scent, he could only hope that he had covered his trails enough to not be discovered.
The next morning, he woke up feeling very refreshed, the feeling of sleeping on such a soft mattress with the air conditioner working all night was really refreshing.
"The life of the rich is really comfortable huh" he said then went out for his morning jog with his hood on his face.
With the hood on his face he went out and with his habit to check around for any mutants in the area and when he was checking he saw two men on the rooftop nearby.
He wouldn't have noticed them normally but with his enhanced sight and hearing he saw them and discovered they were the same mutants he saw in front of his house the previous day.
What was even worse was that he could feel them staring straight at him, that stare sent chills down his spine and he hurriedly looked ahead and left the place.
"Fuck, they were really there for me, and even worse they actually followed me all the way here!"
'Where exactly did I give off trails or signs? I need to find out how exactly they are finding me, if they could find me the first time and the second time then no matter where I go they will be able to find me' he thought then changed his direction.
He actually walked towards the building they were on, it was a building in construction but there were no workers there and besides he was dissatisfied with running away from others.
'The reason why I wanted power so much was to be able to decide what happens with my life so why should I always run away?'
'They are taking me for a pushover by following me around and looking at me from afar like a rat in a cage and I will show them they are wrong.' He thought while walking towards the building and purposely looking at the two of them.
