After returning to the hostel, David changed his clothes since the one he wore was already torn at the arm and walked out of the room.
This time he decided not to stay close and took a taxi to the outskirts of the city.
He had decided to check out his new abilities there and also chack if he could find the boy he saw the other day.
He put on a hood and walked to his destination instead of taking a cab.
After getting to the outskirts, he continued walking for a while trying to find a place where he would be unnoticed.
He soon found a desolate alley where there seemed to be no one around.
He walked into the alley then stayed still for a while checking his surroundings before putting down his hood.
He had developed an extreme sharp hearing and his agility had increased even more than before proving his speculation about his fusion ability to be correct.
Everytime his cells took control over other's cells and he fused with the person it combined the ability of both his body and that of the person being fused with.
In this case, the ability of both his body which had already become inhuman due to the previous fusion with the strange man and that of the lion had been combined together and fused into one!
Currently, his body was brimming with so much power that he felt he could break things with a slight touch of his hands.
But even that wasn't nearly as crazy as the new discoveries he made which was why he had decided to come to the outskirts.
He raised his hands then thought of stretching his fingers and his fingernails stretched out to 5 centimeters long with an extremely sharp edge.
This new ability of his was amazing since everytime he just had the thought he could retract and stretch it.
He swiped his hands against the nearby trash can and it went through without any restraint.
He had a huge grin on his face as he retracted his fingers over and over.
Then he retracted his fingers and focused on the main reason why he made the decision to come to the outskirts.
He once again thought of electricity sparks and his body lit up with a blue hue and electricity sparking all over his body like a super Saiyan.
He could feel his whole body filling up, his reaction speed and perception becoming so fast it was like he could see everything in slow motion.
He thought of throwing out lightning sparks or at least projecting it but it didn't seem to work. The best he could do was touch the object before conducting the electricity to it.
Although he was a little disappointed that he couldn't become a thunder or electricity god like Thor or Zeus but he was pretty much satisfied with the strength, toughness, speed and perception the electric arcs gave him.
Most importantly, using the electric arcs with the sharp fingernails generated a combo effect that enabled him to cut through iron like butter.
With all the experiments he had in mind finished, he had a satisfied smile on his face and decided to return to his hostel, deciding to stay low and not appear in public for the next few days because of the accident that occured in the Unni then returning with a cock and bull story of how he survived the incident.
He had one last experiment that came to his mind but he shook his head off it.
'Scaring the enemy with a roar sure seems fancy but it seems so weird to me, no I am definitely not trying it out.' he thought then turned back to return to his hostel.
On his way back, he decided to check out the people in the outskirts with the thought that maybe there were other mutants there but the results were pretty much bleak.
Ever since he had gained his abilities, he had thought of interacting with other mutants and since his encounter with Michael, he thought he would be meeting many of them but other than Michael he had not seen any mutant that was conscious of his own ability.
It made him wonder where they all vanished to, it couldn't be that among the millions of people in the state and after searching in different areas for so long he still couldn't find even a single one apart from Emma.
And even Emma was still unconscious of his own capabilities, the outskirts also produced pretty much the same results and just when he was about to retire for the day he saw the boy he met the other day being dragged away along the nearby alleys.
It was something he wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for his heightened senses since they were walking pretty fast with the boy tied up.
The thing that attracted him the most however, was the fact that the three men who bound the young boy were all mutants.
"Well, here I was thinking of where all the mutants in town vanished to, perhaps I'll find some answers today."
